This portable “idea machine” is the first product from Telepathic Instruments, a company Parker co-founded to empower musicians and producers with cutting-edge tools for creative exploration.

The Orchid is a versatile digital polysynthesizer designed to help musicians of all levels experiment with melodic compositions. Whether you’re crafting a hook or developing an intricate arrangement, this device offers intuitive features that streamline the creative process.

Developed in collaboration with co-founders Ignacio Germade, Chris Adams, Charl Laubscher, Tom Cosm, and synth expert Stefan Stenzel, The Orchid includes:
Five stylistic modes: Strum, Slop, Arpeggiator, Pattern, and Harp.
A wide range of chord voices that can be re-pitched and re-positioned across a full keyboard scale.
Effects such as reverb, chorus, and delay to enrich sonic textures.
One standout feature is the Loop function, which allows users to build out ideas and arrangements. These loops can be seamlessly transferred to production software via MIDI, making The Orchid a powerful tool for music creation.
