Make the Yamoshi Movie, Funimation!

Known only in fragments, Yamoshi is the original Super Saiyan God(or first to weild the super saiyan 4 form)—a mythical figure referenced briefly by Toriyama in DBZ and GT, but never fully explored. The fan hype around him has persisted for years, and now is the perfect time to bring his story to life on the big screen.

A Yamoshi movie could serve as the perfect spiritual and narrative successor to Dragon Ball Daima. With Daima set to explore Goku’s early years in a new light, a Yamoshi film could naturally follow, taking us far back in time through a time-travel plot. Imagine Whis or a new deity sending Goku and Vegeta to the ancient Saiyan era to investigate a cosmic imbalance—only to encounter Yamoshi himself. This opens the door to emotional storytelling, divine lore, and fierce battles on a scale we’ve never seen before.

The climax could feature an awe-inspiring three-way showdown: Yamoshi vs. Goku vs. Vegeta, each embodying different ideologies and stages of Saiyan evolution. Rather than just another power climb, this could be a story of legacy, destiny, and spiritual connection—hallmarks of Toriyama’s late-stage writing. For fans, it wouldn’t just be another Dragon Ball movie; it would be a tribute to the roots of Saiyan mythology and a fresh cornerstone for the franchise’s future.

Funimation, the fanbase is ready. The legend of Yamoshi deserves more than whispers—it deserves a cinematic roar.
