Aimé Leon Dore and Porsche Unveil Bespoke 993 Turbo in Mulberry Green

Alright, car buffs and fashion fiends, Aimé Leon Dore (ALD) has just teamed up with Porsche again, this time to give the legendary 993 Turbo a glow-up. And let me tell you, this isn’t just a slap of paint and a new air freshener job—it’s the full works, mate. Teddy Santis and his ALD crew have turned this 90s sports car into something so lush it might just make you forget about your own clapped-out motor.

The Look: Mulberry Green Madness

First up, the paint job. ALD’s opted for a custom Mulberry Green—think deep and classy, not your nan’s kitchen tiles. This colour’s been refined over the years by the brand and is now paired with 18-inch Turbo Twist rims, also in green, with a cheeky gold accent. Add in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tyres and some upgrades inspired by the Turbo S—like a whale-tail wing and a front splitter—and you’ve got a car that’ll have petrolheads drooling like they’ve seen free pasties at Greggs.

Inside: Leather Luxe with a Dash of Queens

Step inside this bad boy, and you’re greeted by dark brown leather and lambswool that’s softer than your mum’s favourite sofa. The seats are hardback for that sporty feel, and there’s a brass gear knob shaped like Queens’ iconic Unisphere. It’s the automotive equivalent of sipping champagne in a gold-trimmed tracksuit. And don’t miss the door sills, which read, “A team from outta Queens with the American dream.” Subtle? Not a chance. Classy? Absolutely.

What’s in It for Us?

Now, if your wallet isn’t quite ready for a bespoke Porsche (same here), ALD’s got your back with the “993 Aimé” capsule collection. The details are under wraps, but a pair of New Balance 993s spotted in the promo pics suggests your feet might be getting the VIP treatment too. The car and collection debut on November 22–23 at ALD’s London flagship on Broadwick Street. If you’re nearby, pop down for a gander—it’s worth it just to pretend you’re in the market for one.

In short, this isn’t just a car; it’s a vibe, a flex, and maybe even a midlife crisis all wrapped into one. If Porsche-driving, Queens-repping, high-performance swag is your thing, this one’s for you. Just don’t park it in a Tesco car park unless you fancy a heart attack over scratches.

What do you guys think?
